WHO WE ARE

Carondelet Gardens Urban Farms is a small a cooperative of local farmers who love to plant and harvest, in an urban setting. Our farm, located in South St. Louis, has members from all walks of life. We are a people who come together on common ground, to share our love of growing.  We are a teaching farm that practices sustainability, modern homesteading, food preservation, composting and experimental techniques deemed suitable for urban spaces .The farm yields a wide array of produce, most of which is distributed to those in need. As part of our commitment to the community and the environment, we use no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We are dedicated to education, youth outreach, service and maintaining and open heart and door to those who would like to be included.

OUR MISSION

The Carondelet Garden Urban Farm is a urban farm that exists to give Urban farmers the space to grow food, to educate and teach people how to grow while encouraging the creation of growing spaces and the farming of unused land. By fostering sustainable practices and promoting collaboration in community we seek to empower people to feed themselves and those around them.
