Carondelet Gardens Urban Farms strives to enrich the local community through education, outreach and service. These activities include, but are not limited to: 

• Providing free educational workshops on a variety of topics to anyone who wishes to learn
• Working with schools to provide students with experiences that enrich their understanding of the environment, and the world outside of the classroom
• Purchasing our goods and services from small local businesses, and encouraging others to do so
• Feeding those in need
• Engaging in the FOUR Rs- Recycling, Reducing, Reusing and Repurposing
• Volunteering 
• Organizing community festivals and informal get-togethers
• Beautification of the urban landscape through positive transformation of unused & neglected spaces
